As I have said, I am restoring a 300K series 6D. The horn has a beautiful
tone, responds evenly  throughout the range and plays in tune. Ron Pinc did
a fantastic job on the valves. The next step will be to have the bell cut
with a Schmid ring which will open up a world of possibilities for the
flare.

Fortunately the Schmid ring is very compatible with the vintage 6D bell in
terms of overall horn length. Paul Navarro did the measuring.
