I resently did a destruction of the 2nd movement of Mozart #2 (in D) on
garden hose. I found that a standard 25-foot hose is just about in D, so
it was possible to appear with the hose still wrapped up in its original
coils and cardboard backing and go through the shtick of unwrapping it.
Then to make it Mozartable, stretch it out double and slice it in half to
make it a descant D hose. It's sort of amusing to slice off little bits
to tune it right, but it was already close enough.
