ODK does support multiple languages, but we had some trouble converting
xforms in pyxform, and I reckon I narrowed it down to accents.
If anyone wants, I can go into more detail, but there are a couple of
bug-type elements with language and xforms (XLS to XForm)conversions to
watch out for.
Thanks,
Rupert

ODK does support multiple languages for sure. You can set the ODK
Collect app language in settings and write forms in multiple
languages, too.

To confirm with Nick! A recent project we developed forms for
French speaking folks - so there is option in the development of
the form to have the information visible on the screen when data
collection is being done to show in whatever language you desire.
Hope this helps.

Hi John,
I'm not sure how many languages are available, but there are
options. Certainly the forms can be produced with different
language versions of the questions. One of the forms we
regularly used was initially in French, and we used the option
to change to English.
Hope this helps.

Are these English only tools or is it possible to have
different language interfaces?
Thanks John

Hi Rox,
The packages used were all android apps, but I believe
that some are available for other phones;
ODK Collect
Various websites, but the principle one is
https://opendatakit.org/.
OpenMapkit
http://www.openmapkit.org/
KoboCollect
Similar to ODK Collect. http://www.kobotoolbox.org/
There are other apps which perform a similar function.
We also trained in and installed OsmAnd
http://osmand.net/ (Make sure you have your map organised
before you go to an area of weak internet supply).
I'm quite happy to supply more information if needed &
there are many others on this list with knowledge on the
subject(s) as well.

the application used on the mobile phone for the data
