Michael,
I'm not sure if I understand the problem, you are placing say 5 sheets
of content to be scanned, with say 5 sheets of blank paper, and the
printer is scanning the blank paper? Or does the printer keep scanning
over and over again with no documents? Or something else I am missing?
Thanks!

Hi,
I have a HP Officejet V40 with integrated ADF scanner. Scanning works
perfectly with hpoj drivers.
With hplip drivers, however, the driver does not recognize when the last sheet
of paper has been scanned, but instead continues to scan empty pages until
killed.
This seems to be a very old problem, which I already had with hplip 0.9.4 (or
something like that). This was why I switched back to hpoj, hoping that this
would be fixed sometime (there was a bug report in the mailing list).
Any hope that this will be fixed anytime soon?
Thanks
Michael
