Before starting the migration to HPLIP/HPIJS I could identify my printers on the command line using the names assigned to them and stored in /etc/cups/printers.conf. Now, assuming that hpijs is working for the Professional Series 2500C, I tried to send a pdf document to it by specifying 'lpr -P colorp.' Nothing happened. No data was transmitted to the printer.
How do I go about tracing the problem so it can be fixed? Rich -- Richard B.
