Aaron,

   It's attached. Interesting that I could not redirect the output to a file,
but had to cut and paste from the virtual console.

   A couple of the errors don't make sense to me. I always thought that
Slackware was LSB-compliant, so why isn't that detected? And, I compiled
libnetsnmp from source, so the 'devel' headers should be available. As a
matter of fact, /opt/net-snmp-5.4/include/ contains several header files.

   I removed the ESP PrintPro drivers (using 'hp-remove'), and installed the
2500C using hp-setup. So, everthing is rather FUBAR. How do you recommend
that I proceed to fix all the problems?
