I installed HPLIP flawlessly today on a SuSE 10.2 and then went to install it
on a different PC also running SuSE 10.2 and it fails.

I am running SuSE 10.2 as a server and Samba PDC.
the installer abends on the make part:
Running 'make clean'
Please wait, this may take several minutes...
Command completed successfully.

Running 'make'
Please wait, this may take several minutes...
error: 'make' command failed with status code 2
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Desktop> make > make.log
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

If i change my directory to the installer created hplip-2.7.6 and run make
manually (not sure if this helps) it ends with this error:
/usr/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libgphoto2.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libgphoto2.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make: *** [libhpmud.la] Error 1
