I installed HPLIP 2.7.7 on Ubuntu 7.04. All went well after I got past my stupid errors. However, one problem persists.
When I bring up the device manager in a terminal with the command hp-toolbox, I get a window that says: ERROR:No device found or unsupported device This message stays on the screen for about 1 minute and then the HP Device manager comes up. Is hp-toolbox no longer a valid command? BULLETIN: I have now found that when I use the menus: Applications -> Accessories -> HP Device Manager I get the same result.
