Hi! I have a problem but no solution. HELP! I'm trying to run beta htdig-3.2.0b3 on two different machines. In one case all works fine, in the other ***!!! The first machine is my testing-environment: a good ole AMD K6@233MHz with 48MB RAM running FreeBSD 4.5. I installed the beta-release successfully, configured it and everything went just fine. The second machine is an online virtual private server. I don't know the characteristics, but it should be quite sufficient. The OS is (virtual) FreeBSD 4.4. On this machine I can configure, make and install, I can even build the DBs but when it comes to searching I get an standard error-message about bad script execution. My (apache) log shows:
DB2 problem...: open : Cannot allocate memory [Wed Feb 5 07:34:29 2003] [error] [client 80.133.184.157] Premature end of script headers: /usr/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin/htsearch After that I find a htsearch.core file in my cgi-bin directory!?! Don't know what that means. Anyway: When running from the command line, htsearch doesn't complain at all. It just doesn't work, when beeing invoked as CGI-script. By the way: htdig-3.1.6 works fine on both machines... Anyone any idea? I'd appreciate it much... ;-) Thanks, Thorsten ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
