Dear Jim, Now I've tried what you proposed. I installed the latest htdig-3.2.0b4-20030202-release and indexed only one tiny index.html without any links. The same error about DB2 allocating memory appears. So there must be one very basic difference between my home system and the online one.
I wonder if this might be some apache-related thing. Do you have an idea if there are configuration options concerning that memory issue?
