i am running slackware. i
gather from reading the other posts on this issue that i dont have to use the
meta tags at all. so what else could be the problem?
these are the errors i
get:
htmerge: Unable to open
document database
'/home/****/websites/****/html/htdig/db/db.docdb'
DB2 problem...:
/home/****/websites/****/html/htdig/db/db.docdb: No such file or
directory
i did the -v and i'd say 80% of
the .html files say size = # after them so it seems like its working. what
could be the problem?

What kind of system are you running? I would think the meta tags
could easily be added with a small Perl script or using sed.
