HtDig has started returning some weird stuff on the results page.

The results themselves are fine, but the 'Search results for' heading at
the top has some weird non-words in it that seem to be being constructed
out of the search term itself plus the first few letters of web
directory names.

For example, lets say that /var/www/htdocs contains the directories
finance/, policy/, papers/, admin/ and resources/.

If I search for say 'purchase', I get a results page that says something
like this:

Search results for '(purchase or purchases or purchasing or purchasefina
or purchasepoli or purchasepape or purchaseadmi or purchasereso)'

Apart from baffling users, if htdig *is* actually searching for these
words it is probably wasting time/resources.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how to stop it?

Thanks
Mick
