The easiest way to verify whether htfuzzy is involved in the problem is to set your search_algorithm attribute to exclude anything that relies on htfuzzy. If the problem then goes away, try deleting and recreating the htfuzzy databases and see what happens when you add htfuzzy dependent algorithms back into the mix. If the problem doesn't go away when you remove htfuzzy dependent algorithms, chances are that your databases have somehow become corrupted.
