Is the configuration file installed in the same location on the new
server as it was on the old? The path to the configuration file ends up
hard coded in the executable. So if you move it htsearch will no longer
be able to find the file. If this is the problem and you can't place the
config file in the same location, you will either need to recompile with
the new path specified or write some sort of wrapper for htsearch that
sets the path each time it is called.
