Dear Misfortunate One, I have singled you out maliciously or -- more accurately -- because you had the bad luck to send e-mail to [email protected] when I got around to dealing with that list. If you are so foolish or unwittingly generous as to be willing to help me out, please read further. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and forget you ever received this message,
I used to belong to this list and still receive messages on it which is how I happed to receive yours. The list will no longer accept submissions from me. My sending e-mail address changed because of a server name change and so while I can receive messages at either my old or new address, my messages now come from the new one. It was at the old address that I was subscribed. My submissions to the list generate a response that they await moderator approval and the moderator apparently doen't approve or doesn't do anything. I tried subscribing on the Web site with my new address to no avail. I sent messages to what I thought was the list manager's address, again to no avail. I hope that you can contact whoever should be contacted for me, if by no other means than by sending a message to the list in the hopes that someone who can resolve this situation will see it.
