I had tried that before contacting you. I tried to join under the address from which my messages are sent, intending to unsubscribe the address at which I have been receiving messages once the new subscription was active. As I wrote in my original message, that didn't work. I just tried it again and it hasn't worked yet. I get a message on the Web site that I will get an e-mail message to confirm my subscription request. It's been some time today and I haven't received such a message. The Web page after processing my subscription request says that it might have to go to a moderator for approval. That could take more time but it didn't happen after my earlier attempt and I'm not optimistic about this one. In fact I don't think I can unsubscribe the address at which I currently receive list messages. Web page operations which change list status including unsubscription generally compare the address in question with the user's address which aren't the same in my case. I think it would require action by the list manager. After you put in my message for me, Gregory Hicks wrote and I wrote back but I have heard nothing since. By coincidence, I was getting ready to write to him again when your message arrived. Thanks for your help. Douglas Kline ======== Douglas M.
