I am a fresh webmaster and wanted to utilise your search utility on my
website for use within my webpages. I am working only on windows
background.
I have downloaded your "htdig-3_1_2_tar.gz" file and got it uploaded on
my Unix server. On $ prompt I gave command via telnet like:"gunzip -c
htdig-3_1_2_tar.gz" as described on your page. After this it went on
unzipping something for about one hour and started some surprise
activities. Not made any new directory. Not created any files in my
account. I disconnected thereafter and writing this mail to you.
Please let me know what was my mistake. And also let me know how much
time it should take after command of unzip is given.
I shall appreciate your reply soon.
