Hello all, just in case we'll be searching for a new name to replace HTTP Client with something that encompasses more than just the client side, here is my suggestion:
HTTP Agent The term "User Agent" is used frequently in RFC 2616, and section 1.4 also mentions a "forwarding agent" (proxy) and "receiving agent" (gateway).
