Glad to hear pvQt now works for you.

I think the motion smoothness or lack of it does depend on the OGL
facilities.  Motion is pretty smooth on my OGL v 2.1 box (not as good
as DevalVR, of course) and somewhat less so on my v 1.4 laptop.  But I
expect frame rates to go up as I learn more about the OGL basics.
