It describes the formulas used for both rectangular and 4 types of fisheye lenses: equisolid, equidistant, stereographic and orthogonal. It also contains a graph plotting the associated functions ("frame size" can be replaced with "distance from frame center"). Just be looking at this graph it seems like it should be possible to unite them into one model somehow.
