Hi,

Having real trouble getting sensible output from hugin 0.80. I'm
trying to stitch a simple 7-picture partial pano shot on a Canon A540.
When I drop the images into hugin and tell it the lens specs, it looks
like it completely shreds the images into arbitrary diagonal slices
and spreads them about randomly. It seems to have no trouble finding
control points - it gets about 25 per image and they're pretty much
perfectly matched when I zoom right in, but when it comes to the
stitch, it's just a disaster. I've been looking at the wiki and the
groups, and I can't seem to find any kind of reference table or source
of lens definitions, nor anyone even talking about them!

The same images dropped into doubletake work near-perfectly with no
intervention (which I'm quite impressed with!), but I've been using
panotools for about 12 years now and yet I'm still flummoxed by simple
things like this!

Why is hugin getting it so wrong?

Marcus
