Andreas -

Thank you for looking closer. Yuval ran
into the same problem a couple of days ago.

I have a fix in my local repository that
corrects the problem in a more general setting.
However, currently, I cannot upload it to our
Mercurial repo at SourceForge, because it seems
that SourceForge upgrades their Mercurial
servers. See, e.g.,

        http://sourceforge.net/apps/laconica/sourceforge/notice/368

OTOH, there is even more broken here. 8-/ The
HTML output never complied to any standard, in
particular, we were mixing HTML and MathML. I
have a patch (again only locally on my machine)
that disables the 'html' target and fully
enables the 'xhtml' target. The latter was
tagged "experimental" until that patch. The
'xhtml' target now generates valid

        XHTML 1.1 plus MathML 2.0

which is necessary for processing it with, e.g.,
XSLT tools.

If you are interested, I can supply you with my
current stack of patches. Just drop me an email.

Thanks,
        Chris
