nona, Hugin's stitcher, already uses the GPU if instructed to do so. Whether it is faster or not depends on what type of GPU is pitched against what type of CPU. Kay already pointed you in the right direction. You can use the GPU from the command line with the -g switch or activate the feature in the preferences of the GUI. It is marked as experimental because some projections are not supported yet, and there are some small issues such as the output size being always a multiple of 8. Note that nona will fall back to CPU stitching if the projection is not yet supported in the GPU code. You can find what quirks and bugs affect nona by looking at bug reports tagged nona in the tracker [0]. There is also more specific tagging (GPU). Tagging may be incomplete since the reports have been migrated only a couple of weeks ago, but there is also a full-search option. And if you see a feature that is missing, or if you hit a bug, feel free to file a report there. Yuv [0] https://bugs.launchpad.net/hugin/+bugs?field.tag=nona
