There are certainly very many 'real' external and measurable hums out there,
some very obscure and indirect in propagation. Many confuse them with The
Hum.
They are different to the The Hum, which can only be heard by sufferers.
Many sufferers seek extraordinary explanations of the nature of the Hum, but
it's really quite boring. The causes or triggers are what's more
interesting. I'm starting to group caffeine intake with the contributory
contributory factors for me.
