Yes the lower tone actually induces a profound thumping. Tonight in No. Calif, I would then have to say its the higher frequencys of the drone of static prodominantly in the air outside and inside. Cold, overcast over my town, but not completely overcast. Like the cold of a gas field A dry cold ,like it is trying to squeeze some moisture out of it. The static drone started when I could still see one of the sun sychronous satellites going down on the western horizon. The satellite seemed awhole lot lower and closer in the actual atmosphere also.
Within the static drone is the cycled sound of something like a vacuum tube of gas being compressed or released within a chamber.
