@Aux  dogs and the neighbouring hounds all went mental. They sense it
too!

Two things here Aux-

A lot of people on Yahoo group talk of 'holiday effect' including
travel (air & car)
which generally seems to mean a delay in Hum onset due to a detuning
effect on the ears or sinuses.

Secondly, the dogs thing- very reminiscent of earthquake detection by
animals.
They do seem to have an audio accuity in this department  far in
excess of mans- and, in this case, it would be strange if
all were suddenly mental at  the same time.
Of  course itt may be a random intruder- we will probably never know
that one!
Mans' best friend eh?
(A recent link about cats being 'mental' in some case study comes to
mind)

Anyhow- enjoy the climate..it's about  --10C in UK !
Hum- steady low drone S.Cent. England as per usual.
