There's no doubt that humans living in solid boxes of room dimensions are most often troubled by Hum. The sensirivity of the the ear and ability to phase discriminate, coupled with the standing wave effect, seems always to be a 'winner' - if that is the right word to use. Another anomaly is how , once people have been appraised of the |Hum it becomes a pest- almost like a language learned. This whole arena is one where normal assessments don't seem to do the job anymore - and probably why easy write off solutions are particularly unhelpful- given its' persistence and intrusion.
