(I will repeat this as a new post, because it is apparently a very unusual event, at least from my vantage point, so forgive the redundancy, it may be relevant to a lot of people, and I want everyone here to read it!) (and I have also posted it at Yahoo´s hum group, so you can read different responses there. My username is Greenhorn3K on yahoo.)
Not to sound creepy, but the sound changed direction back after my detailed post! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just posted my detailed analysis (yesterday) of the sound I heard, I heard the hum as usual this evening not really paying attention, then it hit me, IT CHANGED BACK TO THE NORTHERN ANNOYING (to put it very mildly) SOURCE! (Tonight I measured it at about 20 degrees (North-Northwest), from my home, which isn't exactly the direction, but as I said, the trees/ terrain can play havoc with these low frequency sounds!) So...here are the possibilities: 1) I am crazy (I just threw that out there, because, after we are basically "brains in vats". Look it up.) 2)I am not crazy, and I am hearing/feeling some VERY LOUD low frequency events. (The frequency is very low, but the sound is very loud. It just happens to be outside the average person's range of hearing.) If I am not crazy: 2a)The sound just randomly changed back, and has nothing to do with my post. 2b)The sound was changed back in direct response to my post. If the sound changed back in direct response to my post: 2aa)I was right in my analysis, and they realize that it can be heard (by a certain % of the population) and someone doesn't want the attention. (For the record, I don't care, I just want peace and quiet, if it means light in the darkness, so be it!) 2ab)I was right in my analysis, and they realize that it can be heard (by a certain % of the population) but for whatever OTHER reason, they changed it back. I am sure I didn't "exhaust" all the possibilities, but I am "exhausted"! If 2aa) is right, then, sorry guys, you should have done more remote testing before implementing new technology/whatever in population centers. (But the thing I don't understand is, there is still unwanted attention, that is, I can still hear it!!) Cue Twilight Zone music... (Simple solution guys, turn off that crap, back to the drawing board!) (Write off your investment on your taxes, see, that is win/win!)
