It's true that when I did my hum pick up tests using pc I did detect
an unexplained LF component that I thought must either be general LF
EM pollution or mains borne. I thought not to be from a 400MHz carrier
as I was unaware of the power levels this could run at, and also I was
not looking [and don't have the detection bandwidth] for higher freq
culprits.
This has made me reconsider the contribution that power line carrier
systems could give to Hum, as opposed to ground leakage /induction
effects.
