Many sufferers have questioned the possibility between the Hum level and the
weather. A search through the archives seems to indicate that during periods of
low pressure with strong winds and storms the Hum level is also low and that
periods of high pressure are associated with high Hum levels. However I have
noticed that extremes of Hum level occur when a weather front, that is, the
boarder between a high and low pressure system, is directly overhead. This has
occurred over the UK for the past few days and I would be interested to know if
anyone living in the UK has experienced a substantial increase in Hum level.

A pressure map of Europe can be obtained at this web address.
