A useful reminder of American atrocities in Vietnam, in no way lesser than
the worst deeds of the Nazi Germans.

  Gentlemen,

The ATTACHED article (and the book by Nick Turse, “Kill Anything that Moves:
The Real American War in Vietnam”; Metropolitan Books, 2013, that it reviews)
is a must-read for every military officer who has a strong gut.

It brings out the true story of Vietnam based on research by a courageous
American, Nick Turse, using now-declassified documents and putting in a great
deal of effort. But first, do read the ATTACHED piece by Johnathan Schell. It
IS long, but do spare the time.

From the article, I guess that the book, which I intend reading, will surely
be like Howard Zinn's “A People's History of the United States”, published from
USA itself.
