I personally think that if you shouldnt go for the hardware
sampler..........

I would recommend you buy a new system (if your any good with computers you
can easily build one yourself) and use it for sample playback, sound
manipulation etc.

Or you could devote the system you already have, and buy a shitty one for
midi sequencing etc although not with near as much audio processing etc.

If you devote a system to audio processing, and buy for instance gigasampler
then you cant really go wrong.......this way you will always be able to
update the software, so that you have the latest state of the art sampling
technology (believe me, giga is good!) bla bla

i think you should think about this as an option.......and besides, having
to comps in a studio setup is the way to go......you can run things like two
sets of rebirth for instance,

anyway, just a thought......
