That would not be difficult, because these 'events' are not actual midi data,
but you were also talking about the realtime control options like filters and
effects and these would need some more effort.

I think both would be nice. So you would be able to record pattern-select,
section-select, mute- and transpose-data into a pattern chain. And besides that
you would be able to record all of this and your realtime knob twiddeling into a
song.
