32 Channels (2 RM1x boxes)

Someone posted a message recently saying they have two RM1x sequencers
giving them 32 channels.  How do you  set this up?  Set one RM1x as the MIDI
Clock and the other as a slave (like all the other instruments)?  What
happens when you go to write a song?  How can you save the song data on one
box, yet use 32 channels!?  Help!?
