Hi there!

First, you might be confusing me with somebody else as my setup consists of:

- A3K
- RM1x
- Cubase (Mac)
- JP8000

Anyways, I mostly program directly on the RM1x for live stuff. Use both
song and pattern modeh. Now for a few of my songs that are DnB, I use
Recycle + Cubase + the A3K to program the DnB part and then dumb that onto
the RM1x as a SMIDI file in Song mode. Then live I trigger the A3k from the
RM1x and improvise with the JP8000 + my pal on fretless bass.

Must admit I have only tried this a couple times so far, kinda new to this
live business so would be interested in hearing your ideas.

Later!

Marc
