Hi gang, having a problem converting a song from cakewalk to the rm1x.
Im at an interm stage, where Im not sure how I want to bring the parts in,
figured that would be a good use of the pattern mode.
first, I saved the entire song as a midi format 1 song on a floppy. stuck
in in the rm1x, selected song mode, loaded the file, and hit play. sure
enough, there was my song. I had to turn off the internal tg, but no
biggie.
next, I selected 16 measures in cakewalk where every track is playing
something (a convienent loop point). I copied it to a new song, and again
saved it as a format 1 midi file.
I then moved back to the rm1x, selected pattern mode, disk, load, and
loaded the song into pattern U00-A.
here is where my problems start.
a)the pattern that gets copied has 94 measures, not 16.
b)when I force the measures of that section to 16, they dont loop
c)if I hit rewind, my synth and sampler both get some sort of program
change message, the synth gets sounds reloaded, and the sampler switches
to program 1.
any ideas?
