i noticed that last night whilst trying to back up some banks of sounds.
Initially i had enough memory to dump 64 sounds....i save that to disk. i
might add that dumping and recieving Sys-Ex on the rm1x goes rather slow
even when i set the interval to the lowest setting it didn't seem to make
much of a difference. Well so i save that to disk, then procede to load up
some midi files of Sys-Ex to the rm1x. Not enough memory. Ok so i delete
the bank i recorded and try again.....not enough memory. Check the memory
and it's a little over half way full. Ok, well time to start deleting
those sequences that weren't mine. no luck. Well i guess i get to back up
all my stuff then which i do, successfully(gotta love that save all
feature). I proceed to delete each entire sequence manually and when i'm
finished i check the memory once more. IT'S the same STILL!!! argh....i
know there's nothing there and think it's just not updating itself on the
amount of free memory that was freed up. BUg? Well for whatever reason or
another i go to a track and record a few notes just to see if that does
anything to the amount of memory. Wah Lah, to my avail it seemed to reset
the amount of current memory and i was able to load the bank i had been
trying to load for the last half hour. Nothing too big to work around.
Maybe someone else has a solution....or rather a reason?
