I can get better sound out of the Rm1x thru the mixer also.  I've had
great success running it through my Nord Modular's audio inputs.  You can
get some fucked up crunchy drum sounds running it through a vocoder and
compressor.  But then people on the web getting the patterns wouldn't hear
that either, would they ;)
