There's been a few times I've wanted a MIDI out... and I've always been a
little puzzled why H2 didn't have one.  (I think I understand, now.  For
simplicity -- H2 is built as an all-in-one... so using it as a sequencer
to drive other devices/programs wasn't/isn't a priority.)

Hmmm... I hadn't thought of this.

I guess what I was getting at was this:  Does the world need H2 to have a
kick-ass sampler, or should we drop the sampler and join forces with
another project (LinuxSampler, Specimen, etc.).  Personally, I'm starting
to think that the answer is:  "Yes, the world needs H2 to have a kick-ass
sampler."

What did you think about the idea of steering H2 toward Ableton Live
functionality?
