Kalau di Kutai Basin lapangan on-shore, untuk keperluan operation geology practice ; Kita membedakan adanya ; - Normal pressure - Subnormal pressure ; belum diproduksi tapi sudah depleted - Abnormal pressure ; pressure tinggi diantara normal pressure interval, di atas/bawahnya masih banyak ditemukan reservoir yang normal pressure, mungkin ada hubungannya dengan rapid sedimentation, atau kita drill di/dekat puncak gas column yang tinggi sekali. - Transition Over Pressure (TOP) ; setara MWE = 9+ ppg menuju Hard Over Pressure - Hard Over Pressure (HOP) ; di bawahnya tidak akan ditemukan lagi normal pressure, setara MWE=12+ ppg. Yang ini saya yakin tidak ada hubungannya dengan rapid sedimentation ataupun gas column yang tinggi, kalaupun ada mungkin tidak bisa berdiri sendiri. Pernah dicoba buat korelasi Top HOP, hasilnya ; tidak mengikuti stratigraphy maupun structure.
