Pak Rovicky, Untuk success ratio eksplorasi kecil maupun keekonomian yang rendah, mungkin konsep ESC kurang menarik bagi negara. Alasannya perhitungan reserve bisa saja berbeda antara pemerintah dan kontraktor sehingga akan semakin menciptakan wilayah "abu-abu" dlm sharing dan cost recovery. Berbeda dengan perhitungan PSC yg sudah jelas perhitungan split setelah lapangan diproduksikan.
PSC masih bisa dipertahankan dengan mengubah faktor2 insentif misalnya menurunkan Fisrt Tranch Petroleum (FTP) utk kawasan timur indonesia agar investasi eksplorasi meningkat. Atau dengan ide pemisahan dari awal antara PSC Gas dan PSC Minyak dengan split yg berbeda tentunya, sehingga jika kontraktor bekerja pada PSC minyak kemudian mendapatkan discovery gas, maka kontraktor tsb tdk terhenti utk melanjutkan komitmen eksplorasi minyak.
