Do you run RMF III? The STORF command might show you the culprit, and you don't have to be there to watch it real time. Otherwise, monitors like Omegamon, TMON, MXI, or even a SDSF DA display (with "SORT REAL D" might show you. SMF 30 could also be used (working set, but it would probably not be my first place to look.
