Hi, A few months ago we replaced our Sysplex Timer (9037-002) with STP.
We have two z890’s. Each z890 has a production LPAR and a test LPAR. The production LPAR’s form one basic sysplex, and the test LPAR’s form another sysplex. All LPAR’s are running z/OS 1.9. The CLOCKxx members look like this: OPERATOR NOPROMPT TIMEZONE E.00.00.00 ETRMODE NO ETRZONE NO STPMODE YES STPZONE YES ETRDELTA 1 At the end of September (on the 27th) we will change back to winter time. In the past, when we had a sysplex timer, we would shut down all systems, change the time on the sysplex timer, wait an hour and IPL the systems to change the time. What would be the suggested procedure today when using STP?
