I haven't looked at it closely, and I'm not yet running the 1.6 SDK, which has AOT support. On my dinky little 15MSU system, it takes almost two CPU *minutes* to get a JVM going with a Clojure SLIME REPL (an interactive Lisp shell that I can control from my desktop).
