Isn't there a REFBEFOR operand for SLIP TRAPS where you can effectively zap storage? I think you can specify the RANGE=( ) operand and effectively zap storage. I do not have access to a system right now to validate this, but, it seems to me I was able to zap a module or piece of storage using this.
SLIP SET,RANGE=(low, high addresses),ACTION=REFBEFOR,DATA=whatever,END The manual I am referencing is MVS System Commands, Document SA22-7627-21 Ken Kripke [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
