z/OS FTP wants to receive ASCII lines delimited by CR-LF, as per the FTP specs. I find the simplest way to convert single LF delimiters to CR-LF is to open the file with Wordpad (on Windows) and then save it; Wordpad will save it with CR-LF instead. Then you can do a normal FTP.
