As well you should, vendors claims should not be taken as gospel! I was just alerting you that when you hear SSD today, you should not assume it bears any resemblance to the SSD of yesteryear - they are completely different beasts. You should have been at Seattle, Bob Rogers and I went on a Firesign trip for about 20 minutes at SCIDS ;-) Did you know they got together again and did a Y2K album, and then put out a few more after that? Practically all their work is available on CD at George Carlin's laugh.com
>>> Rick Fochtman <rfocht...@ync.net> 3/30/2010 9:47 PM >>> Been a LOOOOOONG time since I heard of Firesign Theater. Still have two of their albums. Point taken but I was paid very well for 23 years to be very skeptical of ALL hardware vendors' claims. Twice, that skepticism paid off. :-) Rick CONFIDENTIALITY/EMAIL NOTICE: The material in this transmission contains confidential and privileged information intended only for the addressee.
