Along with what David Andrews said, I can agree. I completed a MS in CIS 
last spring. We learned theory of database, some C++ programming, and so 
on. Some of it was relevant, some new, all was interesting.

We used to laugh at the last place about the desktop support team not 
understanding computers. 

Give me someone willing to learn, and I can teach him. Give me someone 
just looking for a paycheck and I'll dispose of him.
