Something I forgot to mention - but it's just a comment - maybe:
I picked this up only because failure to find help information is just about
impossible when Google is to hand - although it may be faster and easier to
ask real people on a list such as this than wade through the chaff a
computer will offer.
But then I noted hit number one of my Google search with "IBM sysplex timers
ETS" mentioned that the data stream required "odd parity" and - implied
only - was a start-stop data stream - which put the topic on "home ground"
as far as I am concerned. <g>

Subject: Sysplex timer
Hi again!
Yesterday we tried to synchronize our Sysplex Timers with an ETS, but we
couldn't get it. My problem is I didn't find any manuals with help. It
shows
an error window, but I don't know where to look for information about it.
Could you tell me where can I look for?
Thank you very much!
