No service that I know of tests for "possible ways". They always look for
the PSW. It is expected and assumed that authorized programs follow
expected conventions. If they do not, then they get what they get. You
might view that as a problem, but no one will be changing any code if
someone brings that up as a problem.

And I'll be glad to admit that there likely is no particular place where
one can go to look up "the conventions" as to which instructions are
appropriate to use (or, more important, not to use)
